A love that isn’t meant to be – by Jonathan Wu

A love that you cannot share,
A love that you cannot speak.
Your thoughts in fear,
Your heart in bondage.
The desire grows,
The fear consumes.
Like a gentle wind the love carries you away,
The summer sun warms my heart,
But the bitterness of winter will tear it all apart.

A love without boundaries,
A love without cares.
My mind can never be,
Where my heart has wandered free
Though I cannot grasp,
I will always hold on
I shall never fear again my love,
Though the world might shun me I shall cherish it forever,
A love that wasn’t meant to be.
