Millennial Fair – Updates Log
To keep the main page from getting cluttered with updates, all of our past updates
will be listed here, so that everyone can browse through them to see what they missed and when things
happened.
Past Updates:
Updates from 17/12/2004 to 12/09/2004
17/12/2004: Today I added a Picture Gallery
with 16 high-resolution scans for the sexy Sowelu. I also updated
BoA’s Discography
with her new single MerryChri.
15/12/2004: Sorry for letting everyone wait for a new update; things have been quite busy
for me. Anyways, as you can see from the banner at the top of the page, I have made a special download section
for Ayumi Hamasaki’s new album My Story.
I also updated the information for Sowelu, which iclude the details
of her 2nd album, SWEET BRIDGE. I also changed the layout
for the lyrics pages, added lyrics for the following songs: Glisten, Lovin’ You, and AFTER ALL. I also
made some minor changes to existing lyrics, get out the new pages (Kanji|Romaji).
With the release of Aya Ueto’s third album Re.
we also added the first lyrics pages for this young superstar! Check them out in their Kanji
and Romaji version. I am also doing my best to put up the lyrics
for her first two albums, so please be patient.
01/12/2004: I am back from my vacation in Los Angeles, and I hope everyone had a good time
during their Thanksgiving breaks, I certainly did, and I will post the pictures of my trip soon enough.
As always, a new wallpaper has been uploaded for this month, which you can see above the updates on this
page. I also got to work on the Music section again, and added
a lot of pictures for BoA and Aya Ueto.
Go and check them out now.
23/11/2004: The Music section has been
renovated as you can see. I also added a page for BoA,
which includes a Wallpaper Page and
Japanese Discography. I also added lyrics for
two new Sowelu singles,
I Will & Last Forever,
the Kanji versions can be found on this page. From now
on you can also read about updates and new releases on the music page
directly.
Last month I also joined the affilates program with YesAsia,
which will help me cover costs. It only works if you use the links on our site to buy items, for which
Millennial Fair gets a 10% comission. More about this will be posted at a later time.
26/10/2004: As you might have guessed, I am making a section for Jpop Queen
Ayumi Hamasaki. I already have a lot of Wallpapers
of this pretty woman, and I am working on completing her Discography.
I also remodelled Aya Ueto’s Discography with new
source codes to make it look neater, I also provided links to where you can buy her albums online! In addition
to all this I have also changed my Computer Art Page. I removed the
wallpapers that I was already hosting on other parts of the site, and upload two entirely new wallpapers,
so go take a look right now!
25/10/2004: I am really sorry for the lack of updates. It has been a really busy
time for me, and it’s only getting busier from here on. I will try to complete some more pages
this coming week. Most of my time has been spent on looking for mistakes I made on various pages
and also renewing some of the older codes that I did. You might notice some changes here and there.
I did however have time to update our Language section. As you
can see on the page, I uploaded practise sheets for Hiragana
and Katakana, as well as an essay on the
Pronunciation & Usage of Hiragana.
13/10/2004: The site has finally been moved to the new server. We got a really good
deal actually, so we probably will not have to worry about bandwidth overage every month. The new server
will allow me to explore new options for Millennial Fair, such as the planned conversion to PHP. I set
up a spam filter for my email, but since it is rather aggressive you might want to resend your email if
it has not been answered after a week.
I have also completed a lot of song lyrics for our Sowelu
page. You can find them in kanji here, and for Romaji
you can check here. We have also set up a new section called
the Wallpaper Archives, this is where you will be able to find all the
monthly wallpapers without the calandars on them. Expect more updates very soon.
01/10/2004: As you can see, the new monthly wallpaper is already available. I have been working
a lot on the music section, and I have completely redone our pages for Utada Hikaru.
We now have the complete, Discography, new
Wallpapers and a brand new introduction on her
main page. Once we move to the new server I will begin working
on a totally new download section for our music entertainment, so stay tuned everyone.
26/09/2004: For those who are interested in being a Millennial Fair affiliate, you should
take a look at this page. This program is absolutely free and available
to any website that meets our criteria.
Also, you might have noticed our advertisement for Heroes of Chaos
at the top of the page. This great simulation has just started its second season, and signups are still open.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about Ancient China and interact with many people in a friendly
enviroment. I also play this simulation as Fa Qi, the ambitious and ruthless general of Kan Xiu. Do
you think you have what it takes to survive in a world of Chaos?
24/09/2004: The next week or so I will be working on the Music Section,
improving and remodeling old pages and adding new ones. You will frequently see new banners and features. Right
now I have uploaded pages for three new artists: Aya Ueto,
Sowelu and Park Ji Yoon.
Their sections all have content, but more will be added soon. Check out Sowelu’s Discography
page and download her new single: I Will, which is the 4th ending song to the anime
Fullmetal Alchemist. We also have a photobook online for Aya Ueto,
with a whopping 100+ pictures.
20/09/2004: We added some beautiful hand-drawn artwork to our art section today, courtesy
of Francisco Richard. Check out this talented young artist and
his great works! I also added a drawing of my own right here.
15/09/2004: I finished another Language lesson,
part 4 of Japanese for Beginners: The Copula (to be or not to be).
I also uploaded 25 (!) new poems to the Creative Writing
page. Please keep submitting your poems and other creative works because we love them! I also messed up
on the link to the monthly wallpaper, but it’s fixed now.
12/09/2004: Today we celebrate the fact that since October 2003, Millennial-Fair has
had over 275,000 visitors and 9,000,000 page hits! Our bandwidth and activity have really
increased since last year when I gave the site an HTML make-over. I’m very proud of our accomplishments
and for that I have also made a brand new top banner for you guys to enjoy. We are also providing a Wallpaper
of the Month for our visitors. The wallpaper will have a calendar on it, making it perfect for an office,
of course I make sure the wallpapers are eye candy as well. Starting October we will most likely switch
to a different web host. I'm not entirely sure yet, but I will let you guys now.
I have fixed a broken link that has eluded me for quite some time. The Gameshark Codes Page
for Valkyrie Profile was missing a link to the different values. Those
broken links have been fixed and you can now reload those pages for a good result. Sorry for the delay everyone.
Updates from 08/18/2004 to 04/06/2004
08/18/04: I completed another Japanese lesson and have put it on the
Language Lesson Page. Also, I have uploaded a lot of screenshots
for Full Metal Alchemist, check them out
here.
07/27/04: My laptop is back from repairs so I can continue with updates. However, I will
be on vacation for the next four weeks, so updates will not be here untill much later. In the meantime I set
up two new Utada Hikaru pages. One for her new Japanese single
Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro and one for her new english
single, which is also a preview for her next english album Exodus, Easy Breezy.
Both pages contain lyrics and downloads.
07/04/04: Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you all enjoy the fireworks in your hometown
without too many injuries. Anyways, a while ago I finished our Xenosaga Episode
1 section. Everything is thee! Check out the Characters Page,
Fanart Section, Official Art,
Review, Strategy Guide,
Screenshots Page, Soundtrack Page,
Song Lyrics Page and lastly the Tips & Tricks page.
I will be working on the content for Episode 2 very soon.
06/19/04: Wheh, after a long legal struggle with my ISP,
I finally have access to the internet again and can finally do some updates. As you can see from the banner
just above, our La Pucelle: Tactics section is nearly completed. We
are missing a few character arts and the Strategy Guide is about 60% done. However, I promise that I will
complete that in the near future. The section includes a Characters Page,
Information Page, Original Art Page,
Fanart Page (including two wallpapers that I made),
Game Review, Tips & Tricks Page,
Soundtrack Page, Screenshots Page and of course the
Strategy Guide. We are still looking for people to contribute the Song Lyrics
for this game, so if you have them, please email .
More updates will be posted soon!
04/29/04: I took some more pictures with my Canon Powershot G3 today, and I uploaded them
to the server. Take a look at them here. In addition, there are also 11
new pictures sent in by Marc Weijs, you can find them on the same page. I also took the time to add
all the previews from Trigun to the
Episode Guide on the request of one of our viewers. Also, you can
now download the Gravitation TV Art Book from
our site. Be gentle with the downloads please, and only download the file once. The scans are excellent quality.
04/28/04: Today was such a nice day outside that I decided to take some
pictures of the flowers in and around my house and would share them with you. You can find
17 new digital photos on the Photography Page. I also
made a new Photoshop tutorial on Macros so take a look if it
interests you.
Also, for those of you who are interested in Three Kingdoms related history, I have made
a new addition to Millennial, with a new sub-domain. It is called Tsubame no Hikari, and is
located at http://hikari.millennial-fair.com.
That part of the site is under heavy contruction, but it will be a huge resource database for
people, especially those who are translating SGZ.
04/23/04: I added a really nice looking World Map
for Final Fantasy VII. I also uploaded a huge walkthrough (in two parts)
as text files for the same game, you can find them on the Strategy Guides
page.
04/22/04: Added a new anime to our site: Sensei no Ojikan
(Teacher’s Time). For now, it only has two pages, one for the Characters
and one for the Song Lyrics. More pages coming soon.
04/16/04: I have finished making the layout for our friends at
Empire Divided. The site itself is currently under
construction, so be sure to check it again later on. Our Links
page now have two more links and also has 4 very cute link buttons so that you can link to Millennial Fair.
Some of you may have noticed that we can no longer access our forum. This is because the person responsible for
paying the yearly cost has not done so. I would love to pay for it myself, but I simply don’t have
the money for it, and there has been no donations so far to cover our exceeding bandwidth either. This means
that soon, I will be manually de-activating all remote linking to files on Millennial Fair.
04/06/04: I have started work on revising our Language Page.
So far I have redesigned the Japanese lessons, and added some new lessons. You can now find them under Japanese
for Beginners, Chapter 1: The Japanese Alphabet,
Chapter 2: Basic Greetings,
Chapter 3: Basic Sentence Structure,
and finally Learning Kanji Grade 1.
Updates from 25/08/2003 to 25/03/2004
03/25/04: The entire site layout and CSS has been revised and updated, so that there will not be any
problems with older browsers such as I.E. 5 and Netscape 4. I added the page for Xenosaga
, which includes a Official Art, Character Information
and Soundtrack information. There are episode screenshots for three more
Cowboy Bebop episodes. We also added a new section for the games, which is the
Retro Gaming, which already has reviews for Chrono Trigger
and Bahamut Lagoon. I also added a Survival Guide
for Xenogears. For Photoshop lovers, I took some time to make two new tutorials! They are
for Color Management and Layers. You will also see that I removed the
“Coming Soon” section, and made a new nice quick menu to various things in our entertainment section.
03/01/04: A large silent update was performed by me. Though most of you will not really
see any difference, this update should eliminate any problems with older versions of internet explorer.
I also updated our top banner, because I feel that we needed a new look.
I added one new wallpaper to my computer arts
page. If you like War of Genesis III, you should definately take a look.
I also made picture galleries for both Faye Wong and
Utada Hikaru. There are 56 pictures of Faye, and 32
for Hikki. I will post more of them in the near future.
The page for Names and Terms from Norse Mythology is coming
along nicely. It still needs a lot of work so please do not email me about the broken links unless
the link does not follow any of the names indicated at the top of the page. If anyone wants to help
out, let me know.
I will continue with some more silent updates of the source code of our site, as well as get rid of some
files that do not have a purpose anymore. Now that I finally have all my anime DVDs back (they were
in the mail for a long time -_-) I can start adding new anime content soon! Please don’t forget
to read the donation page to see if you can help me out.
02/01/04: Happy New Year everyone! Unfortunately, the new year has not been kind to
our server. We had more than 11 GB more bandwidth usage in December alone. This means that I got fined
by our host, which I wasn’t too happy about. For this month, we have already used up 2 GB, and that
is 25% of our allowed bandwidth. I will see what measures I will have to take. For now, most downloads
have been taken offline. If the bandwidth issue is resolved, I will put them back up. I really enjoy
hosting this site, but I can’t keep paying fines. If you are interested in helping me out,
you can take a look at the Donation Page. Donators can get exclusive
access to our FTP server, so go take a look now!
06/12/03: With only a week left before my move, I have very little time for
everything else, yet I still found time for Millennial Fair. I put up a quick page for my own
personal Computer Art page, with Wallpapers and banners that I made
for fun. I also completed the screenshots page for
Trigun, which was a lot of work, but we have screenshots
for all the 26 episodes! A new anime was also added
as promised: Full Metal Alchemist. This section is just
getting started, but we are the first site to actually have 7 downloadable songs from the Soundtrack!
Look at the Full Metal Alchemist Music Page for more information.
This will probably be all I can do, I hope I can be back soon after I move.
16/11/03: I squeezed in some time to make a new page for Magic: The Gathering,
and add the first fan deck: Elvish Guile & Terror. More to
come to soon! For those of you who want to know, I will be leaving for California on December 14th.
10/11/03: While still being very busy with my moving to California, I was able to make some
changes here and there. Sam completed the Discography for
Utada Hikaru, and I was able to put up all the
Romaji Song lyrics for all her albums. As you can also
see, I added some new things to come soon to our site that you can look forward to.
19/10/03: I renewed our contract with our host Burton Hosting,
so we are good for another year. I will be away most of November and December because I am moving to
California. During that time I will have no room for Millennial Fair. My computer has been quite messed
up as well, so I need to get a new one to continue all my work. But not everything is bad news.
I put up a download page for Utada Hikaru’s new single
Colors! I hope everyone enjoys the song and video, and will hopefully
be motivated to buy her single CD. I have done some small renovations here and there, because there were
some issues with Mozilla/Netscape that needed to be solved. I have put up a page for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
, and pretty soon I will start on a guide for it as well. I also worked on our Cowboy Bebop Section,
I wrote reviews for the first two CDs on the Music Page, and I
started putting up all the Lyrics for the songs as well.
I hope everyone can be patient with this busy webmaster. I will try to answer all the emails
that I forgot as well. Thanks for the understanding! ^_^
11/09/03: For the time being, there won’t be any updates for Millennial Fair.
I will take time off to completely evaluate my investment and its possibilities. Meanwhile, I will
focus on my personal life as well as my education. Our forum
will still be open for comments and discussion.
07/09/03: Quite a lot of work has been done for our Cowboy Bebop page.
I added both Screenshots as well as Episode Guides
for the first five episodes of Cowboy Bebop. In addition, the screenshots are also catergorised by characters,
and soon I will add mechs. I also made a new page for our resident bounty hunters, which features ISSP
descriptions of your favourite Villains. The
Information Page was updated with information from the first
DVD, as well as some fun facts on Cowboy Bebop. The Music Page
also received a small update, as it now has all the albums as well as an intro. You may also notice
that some of the banners have changed, and I will keep doing that untill I am satisfied with all of them.
That’s it for now, see you next time, Cowboy!
30/08/03: Today is a day of song and rhyme. Well, actually it’s just about rhyme
for the time being. We had quite a few poetic contributions today, and I am very pleased to see that people
are willing to share their creative work with our viewers. First off is a poem by one of our readers,
Insecurity and unfulfilled dreams by thedeadpoet.
Next is a collection of poems by my lovely friend Jen (Mei Zhen), which are called Dream,
Immortal, One with Me,
Saturday and Untitled. Mei Zhen
is also a moderator and member of our forum,
so you could talk to her, or any of the other staff members on there if you want to offer feedback
or just plainly want to have fun talking to us. More updates coming later today. Have a nice day, and work
hard, people of California. ^_^
27/08/03: I decided to do more work on the Music Page
of our Games section. I added OST listings for a couple of
games, such as Grandia, Grandia II,
Brave Fencer Musashi, Breath of Fire III,
Breath of Fire V, Lunar: Eternal Blue,
Final Fantasy X and Chrono Trigger.
In addition, I added reviews for Grandia Original Soundtrack I,
Grandia Original Soundtrack II, and Grandia Arranged Soundtrack.
I also started adding downloadable front and back covers for many of the soundtracks (so far, I have them
for the BOF III OST, BOF IV OST,
Brave Fencer Musashi OST, CT OSV,
CT’99 OST, FF7 OST,
FF8 Piano Collections, FF9 OST,
FF9 Melodies of Life, FF9 Piano Collections,
Grandia OST II, Grandia OST I,
VP OST, VP Arranged,
Xenogears OST and Xenogears Creid.)
24/08/03: Yes, August 19th has passed and I am now 21 years old (..great). Amyways,
I took some time to finally clean out and update the Music Page
of our Games section. In addition, I made a
Lyrics page for the Final Fantasy games, as well as a page for
Sonic Adventure: Songs with Attitude Vocal Mini–Album,
which includes lyrics for each song. Finally, I addded a Review
for the Valkyrie Profile Original Soundtrack. In the meantime, Sam has started on a new Games section for
Metal Slug X, and we have already uploaded the pages for the
Characters and the Strategy Guide.
Lastly, I did my best to get as much Official Art, including
Amano art for the Final Fantasy VIII page, and Sam added a page
for Tips & Tricks.
Updates from 13/08/2003 to 01/11/2002
13/08/03: While resuming my work on the Breath of Fire IV Strategy Guide,
I found some time to do the pages for the Official Art and the
Fanart. I also did some work on Final Fantasy VII,
and uploaded the pages for Screenshots, Fanart
and added some new artwork, including Box Art and Amano art on the Official Art Page.
10/08/03: Whew! We are back from vacation and we have the site running smoothly again.
If you were waiting for an update, get ready! Because we have a lot of new stuff to bring you.
Starting at the Anime section, we updated the
Gravitation page with Information
on the voice actors. The Trigun section also got an
Information page, to which we will add information on
voice actors soon enough. Sam also edited some of the Character biographies,
and added another episodes to the Episode Guide.
A new banner was made for the Gundam Wing page, and we added
pages for Information, Music,
and Quotes. Cowboy Bebop
also got a new banner, an Information page and 2 new
Character biographies. For the Vision of Escaflowne
there are new Character biographies as well as a
Music page. Outlaw Star
was updated with an Infromation Page, a
Music page, and a Quotes
page. There are also a few new Character biographies.
Moving on to Samurai X, Sam did a page for the
Characters, Music
and Screenshots. The Princess Mononoke
section was given a Characters Page,
Information Page, and Music
Page. Serial Expriments Lain received an
Information Page and a Music Page.
And finally for anime, introductions were made for two new sections: Ah! My Goddess
and Macross Plus. They will soon receive content like the other
animes.
Heading towards the Games Section, we are proud to show off
our completion of the Valkyrie Profile section. This means that
we added pages for Characters, Fanart,
Information (including voice actor bios),
Gameshark codes, Official Art,
Reviews, Strategy Guide,
Screenshots, Soundtracks,
and finally Tips & Tricks. I am now starting to complete
the content for Breath of Fire IV. I have already completed
the Soundtrack page, and I am working on the
Indepth Character biographies as well as a Strategy Guide.
The Final Fantasy VII page was updated with a
Review by my good friend Jonathan Womack.
I added a page for the Final Fantasy VIII Soundtracks, and Sam
made sure that the Final Fantasy IX page now has a
Official Art section, a Review
and updates for the Guides & Quests. That’s it for this
small update, you will hear from us soon.
30/06/03: While me and Sam are on vacation, there won’t be a lot of activity here, but
we worked hard the last few weeks to update the site for you. The Anime section
received a big update. New pages were added for Princess Mononoko,
and Sakura Wars, and the latter includes in an
Official Art and Wallpaper page.
For Trigun section, we added an Episode Guide,
a Music page, a Quotes page,
and finally a Screenshots page. Additional character pages
were made for Escaflowne and Outlaw Star.
For Cowboy Bebop, Sam finished the Characters Page,
and added two pages for Music and Quotes.
The Games section also received a small update. The
Final Fantasy VII page was updated with an Official Arts section.
The Guides page received 6 new sidequests, including a
Summon Materia Guide and a Weapons Guide.
Lastly, Sam did a Tips and Tricks section, which contains a few
spoilers, but will help you get underway with the game without a complete guide.
09/06/2003: The new style for our forum
was completed today, as well as a historical biography of Erwin Rommel,
a German Officer and famous strategist, and one of my favourite generals, the Japanese Fleet Admiral
Isoroku Yamamoto. This week I hope to add more biographies, and maybe some other
surprises for the Academics section. To help me with the
coding for Millennial Fair, my lil bro Billy has joined the staff!
01/06/2003: After a long time of silences comes another update. The
Language page was updated with the first of many
Japanese language lessons.
The Music page has two new artists featured on it!
Instead of Asian artists, we have Özlem Tekin, and
the winner of the year’s Eurovision Song Contest: Sertab Erener!
In addition, I started work on lyrics pages, as you can see, both the pages for Özlem Tekin
and Sertab Erener are missing some lyrics. If you can help
us find them, please Jonathan Wu about it. For
the time being, you can also download Sertab’s European album to see if you like it!
For the Games section, Sam
updated the Final Fantasy IX Side Quests page, and on the
Anime side, he started construction of the
Characters Page for Cowboy Bebop.
14/05/2003: With a little help from Sam
I was able to prepare the Final Fantasy IX Page, as well as the
Indepth Character page! Also, Risu Chan
has totally revised two song pages from Gravitation. You can
now see read the new versions of Superdrive and
Sleepless Beauty, both pages also have Kanji lyrics
added to them. Enjoy! And thank you Risu Chan!
Last but not least, Robb wrote the introduction to
Serial Expriments Lain for the Anime
section.
11/05/2003: I decided to refresh the Xenogears Soundtrack Page
and add a review for the OST,
and one for Creid as well. In addition, I moved all the song
lyrics for both these CDs to one new page, the Xenogears Lyrics Page,
enjoy!
I also uploaded some of my own art, feel free to send me feedback
on it whenever possible.
03/05/2003: Today we want to welcome the latest addition to our wonderful staff, my
lovely sister Jaime Brownyard! Jaime is an artistic talent and one
of my sources or personal motivation, welcome aboard sis!
The Original Art page was fully revised, and now contains art
from six different artists! I am still playing around with the definate lay–out so it may change
a few times. Our Anime section received another great update.
This time, we added pages for the Vision of Escalowne,
Outlaw Star, and Samurai–X!
In addition, Sam wrote a Characters Page
for the Trigun section.
Our music section also has a great addition, with Sam’s
help, I was able to put up the Lyrics Page for Rockin’ the Suburbs, one
of Ben Folds’ albums. My lovely sis Jaime was also kind enough
to write an introduction to the Technical sides of Photography.
04/09/2003: The Consensus Page was finished
and uploaded. Please take a moment to look it through, because it has important information regarding
the use of this site.
04/08/2003: Before I start this update, I have an important announcement to make
regarding Millennial Fair’s future. Some of you may know I was considering to quit web design
and focus on other things. However, that took a turn–around when Sam
offered to start a Forum with me.
I have had the opportunity to think on matters, and with the help of Sam, Millennial Fair is going to
reach new heights. Thus, Sam will not just be my partner on the forums, but also here. Take a look at
the new Staff Page to see the changes.
With Sam’s help, I was able to make Millennial Fair a finished product. This means that there
are no more broken links, and no more coming soon pages. This great news! We are also considering
a new partnership with Kongming’s Archives
, so we will keep you posted on that the coming weeks.
Now for the rest of the update, starting from the top, the Academics needed some fixing, thanks
to the tip from James. Our Language section was updated with my
Introduction to Japanese. The Original Artwork Page
has been launched with the drawn art of three of our artists, take a look!
Our Photography section was also completed, starting off with a
great collection of pictures by our friend James, who also has the most adorable pictures of kittens
you will ever see!
The Games section was also greatly updated. Sam updated
the Final Fantasy VII Strategy Guide, and also put up the
SeeD Test Answers for Final Fantasy VIII.
The Game Music and Soundtracks page was completed, and I
added the Final Fantasy Black Mages Page, along with
a review for it.
Moving on to Anime, Sam wrote the intros for
Trigun and Cowboy Bebop,
and more content for both animes will come soon, I also made a nice banner for both. ^_^
Last, but not least, Sam wrote the intro to the
Ben Folds section. Ben is a great artist, and we hope to give
the music section a little more attention the next few weeks. Well that’s it for this small
update. See ya soon!
03/31/2003: Our update today brings many great things. First, we start off with a new
addition to the Games section, being the Final Fantasy 7 Page,
which includes an Indepth Character Guide, and a whole page full
of Guides and Quests, all written by my friend Sam.
Next, Robb completed Disc 1 of the Final Fantasy VIII Strategy Guide!
Finally, I uploaded Iwan’s essay on Spartan Trade and Agriculture. Next week I will be
absent for the most part, so another update may take a week. Thanks for understanding. ^_^
03/25/2003: “It is time,” the walrus said, “to talk of many things, and the first is an apology.”
I am sorry for not being here for so long, but life has been extremely busy. I got a new job, had to pay bills, manage my personal life
and also help Sam set up the forums. As you can see above, Millennial Fair now has an official forum called Radical Dreamers. We hope that a lot of
people will sign up and join the discussions. If you have questions, you can email or Sam.
03/04/2003: My computer has been giving me a headache for about a week now. From crashing constantly to problems with Explorer. I might have to reinstall IE, or even Windows. Since I start my new job this week it will be a while before I have time for this. Sorry for everyone who has been waiting for updates. If I haven’t answered your email yet, I will probably do so in the weekend.
02/26/2003: I know, I have been away for a while, and with good reason. For the past few days I have helped James with the new lay–out of Kongming’s Archives, as well as revising my own work on his site. I have also been sick constantly and have been sleeping a lot more, thank god. Today we have updated the Academic writing page with Iwan’s List of Spartan Terms, as well as a collection of links to my work on other sites.
Robb updated the Final Fantasy VII Strategy Guide, and the Links Page has been completed as well. I apologize for the lack of updates and I will make up for it soon. Last but certainly not least, I want to welcome my dear friend Patricia as new Staff member. She will be helping me with the games section, and has already written a review for Morrowind: The Elder Scrolls III.
We will also set up the new X–men Evolution page soon, so keep a lookout for it!
02/14/2003: I have been busy lately and feeling sick as well, therefore my work on Millennial Fair will have to get set back a bit. I uploaded my essay, the Rise and Fall of the Imperial Han, prepared the Game Reviews Page and added Bill Wixon’s review of Battlefield 1942. On another note, our Game Master Robb is celebrating his 17th Birthday today, Congrats Robb!
02/12/2003: Although you might not notice it, I worked for hours on the site today, and I finally have all pages verified to be compatible with XHTML 1.0. This means all the code on Millennial Fair should be correct. Also, there was a problem with older broswers (IE 5.5) that should be solved now, some changes were made in the CSS, so if you are using IE 5.5, please clear your cache and reload this site. If there are still problems, please me so that I can fix the problem.
02/11/2003: Before we begin this update, let’s welcome Richard as our new staff member, welcome aboard! The Gundam Wing page has been uploaded and the Chracters page is almost completed, me and Richard will keep adding things to it this week. The Games section was updated with the Breath of Fire IV page, the Valkyrie Profile page, the Grandia page, and the Final Fantasy VIII Indepth Character Page. Aditionally, the Final Fantasy VIII and the Final Fantasy VIII Strategy Guide received new banners, yay!
02/08/2003: Whew! Another update done! I forgot to make the Final Fantasy VIII page, but it’s here now! Also, Robb added some more chapters to the Strategy Guide. The art section is finally getting some attention from me, the Computer Arts index page was uploaded, as well as the First Photoshop Tutorial! If you are starting out with Photoshop and don’t know where to begin, our tutorial is a good place to start! I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it.
02/04/2003: My ISP went down for a full 24 hours, and I am therefore late with my update. I uploaded the Brigandine page, and started on the Strategy Guide. The Xenogears Soundtrack Page, along with the lyrics for Small Two of Pieces and Star of Tears were also completed. The Final Fantasy VIII Strategy Guide received an update from Rob, and I added another chapter to my Xenogears Strategy Guide. My Xiang Yu biography was edited and uploaded, enjoy reading it! Teresa Teng’s page was completed and uploaded, I hope my humble biography helps people appreciate the brilliance and importance of her music.
02/01/2003: Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Gong Xi Fa Cai! We are starting the new Lunar year with more additions to our site, first let us welcome Robb as our new Staff member. Presenting a new story: Words can’t express by my good friend Shem Bennett, based on a real life story. One of the best stories I have read in the last few years, check it out to see for yourself. The games section was updated with Robb’s Final Fantasy VIII Strategy Guide, and the Xenogears Strategy Guide was updated with another chapter.
01/31/2003: Finished another big update. The Literature section has been made ready for use, the Academics Page was uploaded along with Liu Bang’s Historial Biography and Xiang Yu’s Historical Biography.
The Language Page started off with an Introduction to Dutch, and the Creative Writing Page is up with my own poem: A love that isn’t meant to be. The music section was also updated with Faye Wong’s Page and her Discography.
01/30/2003: The Xenogears Strategy Guide is coming along nicely. I will continue working on it this weekend, I might make some changes with javascript for better view, but we will have to see about that later. I took the liberty to check our site for XHTML validation. If you follow the link at the bottom of the page you can see for yourself.
01/22/2003: Fixed a lot of broken links in the anime section, all the menu links should work now (for the entertainment section at least). Started construction on our Music section and wrote the introduction to Utada Hikaru’s page.
01/19/2003: The Gravitation page has been updated with the Characters Page, and the Song Lyrics Page. A few changes were made in the CSS layout, they will improve readability and table display.
01/14/2003: After enjoying my trip to Amsterdam and the Rijks Museum
I decided to start on our Staff Page. For those of you
interested in european art, I would recommend visiting the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam as well.
01/13/2003: Today was a busy day for me, as I had to entertain a few guests
so all I could do is put up two new link banners for Project A–ko and You′re under arrest!
I will continue tomorrow, and resume the work on the Anime section.
01/12/2003: I have been working on the Anime
section. The temporary index file is up, and I will continue working on the Gravitation
section. Mistakes in the html will be fixed along the way.
01/11/2003: Our site layout was completed last week by James
and today we started working on the Index page revision. Hopefully we will be able to add a few more pages tomorrow.
I will start with the anime section first, and then move on to upload some of Patricia Hamasaki’s stories
and poems.
