[Millennial Fair | the Fair Grounds FAQ]

the Fair Grounds FAQ

What is the Fair Grounds?

The Fair Grounds is Millennial Fair’s very own Weblog. A Weblog allows people to post articles, opinions, news or editorials. In our case, we will have a team of people who will regularly post articles relating to the subjects that we cover on our site. The main categories right now are Music, Anime and Games.

How can I be part of the discussion?

Any registered person can comment on articles (click here to register now), but only approved users can actually post articles. Leaving comments will help build our community, and regular users can eventually start writing their own articles.

Are there any specific rules I need to abide by when posting comments?

First of all, please do not use any profanity. This is not a personal Weblog designed for venting and ranting. The Fair Grounds is for constructive discussions only. If you want to voice your opinion about an article, or comment on someone else’s opinion, I ask that you use common sense, and regard the feelings of the author first. This means that flaming, trolling, and spamming are unacceptable. Please also refrain from making racial, sexualy oriented or politicaly inclined comments. Freedom of speech is a priveledge, not a right.

How do I leave a comment?

At the bottom of each article will be a link that displays the amount of comments. Click on that link will take you to the comment page. You will need to enter your name and email address, and then you can start writing your comment in the large box at the bottom. A list of allowed HTML is available just above the post box for your convenience. Once you are done, simply press the “Say It!” button, and your post will be processed.

What do I do when I want to author articles?

Send me an email describing what you want to post about and why. If goes without saying that authors should have command of the english language. Right now posting will be strictly in english, but should the need arise, we can allow other languages as well. Aspiring writers, journalists or artists are more than welcome to post their work on the Fair Grounds. Because Millennial Fair is a non-profit educational site, you can use it as a reference on your resumé.

If you have any more questions, you can always email with any inquiries or concerns. Have fun!
