What is an affiliate?

In short, an affiliate is a website that gets top priority sponsoring througout the site. Affiliates will have either a small image banner on all of the pages through the left hand menu, or a text link depending on what you want.

Why be an affiliate?

In the last ten months, Millennial Fair had around 8,000,000 page hits and 275,000 regular visitors. Each month the amount of visitors increases as we add new content. Millennial Fair is a website that has endless possibilities for expansion and will keep expanding on a weekly basis. With your link on the more than 300 pages, your site will surely get noticed by our visitors.

How do I know if I can be an affiliate?

Your site has to have similar or relating content to what is offered here at Millennial Fair. It can be a games site, anime site, or a site with Japanese lessons. What we like to see are sites that are well maintained and regularly updated. Sites featuring adult, slanderous, racist or other possibly offensive content will not be considered. Weblogs, livejournals and personal opinion pages are not accepted either. Your site does not have to be equal in traffic rank to Millennial Fair, we judge mainly by content and presentation.

Do I have to pay for this?

No. We will never ask for a fee like other websites. This program is for mutual benefits, you get more traffic and so do we. By placing a link on your site back to us, you fulfill your end of the agreement.

Are there any other important things I should know?

Yes. The duration of affiliation with your website will be for one year, starting at the first of the next month that you are approved. Millennial Fair has the right to end its affiliation with other websites without prior notice. If we’re satisfied with the affiliation after a year, we will email you about renewing for an extra year. If not, we will let you know one month in advance. Being an affiliate does not give you the right to hotlink to files on our site, nor does it allow you Millennial Fair’s contents and put it on your own site without asking for permission. We are happy to share resources, but only with our consent can you do any of the aforementioned things.
