 Vash the Stampede (Top)

Alias: The Humanoid Typhoon, Mankinds first localised disaster, Diablo
Age: 27
Intro: Twenty years ago, Vash the Stampede, the legendary outlaw, single handily destroyed a
major city called July. How or why he did so unknown, but ever since he has had a huge bounty of
$$60,000,000,000 upon his head. Although there are no recordings of Vash actually killing anybody,
this bounty still sticks due to the amount of damage Vash has caused throughout the years, and thus
has been relentlessly hunted by bounty hunters, whom have never succeeded in capturing Vash. Although
Vash is known as a legendary outlaw and gunman, he is in fact peace loving and kind, and would never
intend to hurt anyone, hence his favourite saying: “Love and peace! ”
 Nicolas D. Wolfwood (Top)
“If the majority can be saved by the death of a lesser amount, then so be it”
Alias: The Travelling Priest, Preacher man, The man who rings the black funeral bell, Chapel the Evergreen (manga only)
Age: 28
Intro: Nicholas D. Wolfwood is a priest whom works in an orphanage in a far away town, but due
to the shortages of money in that certain orphanage, Wolfwood was forced to become a travelling
priest, earning money for the orphanage whenever he could. However, Wolfwood is not your typical
priest; he drinks a lot (although it doesn’t effect him) smokes a lot, and rivals Vash in
terms of Gunmanship. Although Wolfwood shares the same views as Vash; to protect the innocent and
help those in need, he is not afraid to kill in order to accomplish that goal, hence his saying
“if the majority can be saved by the death of a lesser amount, then so be it”.
 Meryl Stryfe (Top)
“That’s why we have to find Vash the Stampede and keep him under 24 hour surveillance. It’s the only way to prevent further damage! ”
Alias: Derringer Meryl
Age: 24
Intro: Meryl Stryfe is an employee of the Bernadelli Insurance agency, and was chosen, along
with Milly Thompson, to track down Vash the Stampede and prevent him from causing any further damage,
as it is costing the insurance company dearly. It is obvious that there is much confusion on as to
whom Vash the Stampede is; at first they think it may be a man with a Mohawk, but it couldn’t
possibly be the goofball who’s chasing girls and constantly eating doughnuts, could it? Meryl
eventually comes to believe that this goofball is indeed Vash the Stampede, and grows to see him in
an entirely different perspective...
 Millie Thompson (Top)
“I have a separate stomach for cake and ice cream”
Alias: Stun Gun Millie
Age: 24
Intro: Just like Meryl, Millie is an employee of the Bernadelli Insurance agency, and along
with Meryl was sent to track down Vash and prevent him from causing any further damage. Millie and
Meryl are the best of friends, and thus Millie is extremely loyal to Meryl and supports her in
everything she does. Although Meryl is not actually Millie’s boss, she still looks up to her
and takes orders from her, which is most likely brought upon Millie’s lack of intelligence.
Whilst travelling with Vash and Wolfwood, Millie manages to lighten up the darkest of moods, which
results in many people becoming fond of her, and some more then others...
 Legato Bluesummers (Top)
“I plan on obliterating all of mankind down to the very last speck of dust. Why is it you insist on meeting your fate sooner? ”
Alias: Legato
Age: Unknown
Intro: Legato Bluesummers is the leader of the deadly group known as the Gun Ho Guns and
possesses immense psychic ability. His sole aims are to kill Vash the Stampede and destroy human
mankind. This is brought upon Millions Knives, the individual who Legato looks up to more then any
others. Cold and emotionless, Legato is not concerned for the life of others, and as said before,
plans to totally obliterate the human race. His loyalty towards that of Knives is so great that he
would do anything to satisfy his needs, even if it would mean taking his own life.
 Millions Knives (Top)
“I’ll never understand humans; they’re a total waste of life”
Alias: Knives
Age: 27
Intro: Millions Knives is a distant memory of Vash’s past, and is known to Vash as a
psychotic murderer. Vash believed that Knives had been killed along with the destruction of July many
years ago, but it is now very clear that he has returned, and with a new founded group of deadly
killers known as the Gun Ho Guns. Vash’s relation towards Knives is unknown, and the reason
behind the two’s bitter rivalry has yet to be revealed.
