Trigun

Introduction:

Many years ago, one man destroyed a major city called July: the legend that is now known as Vash the Stampede, the Humanoid Typhoon. Although no one was killed in the destruction of the city, Vash has been a wanted criminal ever since with a bounty of 60,000,000,000$$ upon his head. At the current day, the Bernadelli Insurance agency have sent two of their employees named Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson to locate Vash and if possible, prevent him from causing any further damage, as it is costing the insurance company dearly. Although they do not believe it at first, Vash is in fact a goofy, peace loving, girl chasing, doughnut eating gunfighter who has miraculously been able to survive dozens of attacks. However, it is later very clear that Vash is an extremely talented gunfighter, whom has been able to survive so many attacks without killing a single person, and who protects those who cannot protect themselves. Although Vash seems like he has always been a lone wolf, he later meets a man who intrigues him and changes him forever. That mans name is Nicholas D. Wolfwood, a travelling priest from a distant city, seeking to make money for the orphans he looks after. A distant memory in Vash’s past, being a murderer called Millions Knives, has come back to haunt him with a new founded group of deadly killers called the Gun Ho Guns, but can Vash’s and Nicholas D. Wolfwood’s new founded friendship help the innocent people Knives and the Gun Ho Guns are reeking havoc upon? What is the connection between Vash and Knives? Why did Vash destroy the city of July? All this and much more is revealed in Trigun, one of the most famous and popular anime series to date.
